This is a fun and adventurous day for the whole family. Fly over the Great Barrier Reef including islands, cays and beaches, take amazing photos of the area and then cruise to Green Island for a full day on this beautiful tropical paradise.
In this exciting 40 minute high wing scenic flight over the reef every passenger gets a window seat so nothing can be missed by anyone.
The aircarft flies over many spectacular locations such as the False Cape in Cairns, Green Island, Arlington Reef, Michaelmas Cay, Hastings Reef, Oyster Reef, Double Island and Palm Cove. On the way back to Cairns from the reef the aircraft flies along the coastline offering incredible views of mountains, rainforests and the beaches.
Passengers will love the experience and they will be able to see how big and beautiful the Great Barrier Reef really is with all the different colours that can only be seen from the air.
And then after this amazing flight passengers are dropped off at the Reef Terminal to catch a ferry transfer to Green Island. Green Island is a beautiful coral cay located on the Great Barrier Reef with tropical rainforests surrounded by white sandy beaches, beautiful coral reefs and extensive marine life.
On Green Island clients can choose to do a glass bottom boat tour or have the snorkelling equipment for the whole day. Also a buffet lunch is included. Extra activities on the island include:

Passenger Weight:Please note that client’s body weight must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed as per Australia's Aviation Policy. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee.
All Divers: In accordance with the Australian diving law, ALL DIVERS must complete a medical questionnaire on board, before diving.
Introductory Divers - NOTE: Certain medical conditions may prevent you from diving (e.g. Asthma, Heart Disease), please contact our office. Min. age to dive is 12 years.
Flying after Diving: If only one dive is undertaken then a minimum of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If more than one dive is conducted in the day, an interval of 24 hours is recommended. This is not applicable for low scenic flights over the reef.

Reef Tax: Reef Tax is levied for all adults and children entering the Great Barrier Reef. This charge and other levies are INCLUDED in the cruise fares.

Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
