The Tully River offers grade 3 & 4 rapids and it is considered the best rafting river in Australia and New Zealand cascading through World Heritage rainforest.

Each raft is controlled by a highly trained river guide who teaches passengers the correct rafting techniques and help them during the tour so experience is not necessary. Also the guides share with clients the history and wonders of the magnificent landscape around them.

07:00 Bus departs Cairns
Tavel time from Cairns to Tully is approx 1 hour & 30 minutes
07:30 Pick up from Mission Beach accommodation
08:30 Arrive at Tully Cafe for a quick coffee and snack (to be purchased)
09:30 Arrive at the top of the river and start preparing for rafting
09:45 Start rafting
12:15 BBQ lunch on the side of the river
Enjoy approx. 2 hours & 30 minutes of rafting
12:45 Continue rafting
Enjoy another 2 hours & 30 minutes of rafting
15:15 Arrive at finish point and start packing to leave the river
15:45 Arrive back at Tully Cafe to have a look at the photos taken during the day
16:30 Bus departs Tully
17:00 Hotel dop off at Mission Beach
18:30 Hotel dop off at Cairns
19:15 Hotel dop off at Northern Beaches

Age:Age: Minimum age is 13 years, and those under 18 must travel with a guardian or parent.
Important Information: Rafting is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant. For your safety you will not be permitted to raft if we detect you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, no refund will apply. If you have a medical condition and/or you are unsure that you are physically able to participate in the activity, we recommend that you consult with a medical practitioner prior to booking.

Age: Adult age: 13 yrs +.
Rafting Levy: The $30.00 rafting levy is INCLUDED in all prices.

Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.

Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.

Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.

Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
