Evolution is a $5 million dollar vessel that provides customers with a luxury, superior and personalised tour. The vessel is large, modern and fast, offering class and style of a motor yacht.
The vessel is quite spacious with 3 level decks. The main deck and upper levels are cosy and large. The outdoor area offers passengers with lots of seating options under the shade and comfortable lounges which is a great place to rest. For those ones who want to get in the water, at the end of the vessel there is a fold-down platform that provides easy and safe access to the water.
Evolution visits two outer reef sites daily and travellers spend over 5 hours in the water exploring the beautiful great barrier reef. The reef locations they can visit are Norman, Saxon & Hastings Reefs. They always choose the 2 locations with the best clarity of water for the day and where they will get a wide range of marine species. Travellers will enjoy the beautiful coral formations and the different coloured fish around.
The package deal includes free guided snorkelling tours, scuba diving lessons, onboard entertainment and a barbecue lunch. For passengers who have never snorkelled before they can have an one-on-one lesson on gear use and snorkelling techniques. This is also great for kids. Also buoyancy aids such as foam noodles, life jackets and wetsuits are available on board.

A scenic helicopter flight is also available to pre-booked. Passengers can travel to and from Evolution by an amazing low helicopter flight where they get to see the reef from an unique angle. The reef colours are brighter from the top and there is also a chance to see some beautiful marine animals such as stingrays, sea turtle, whales etc.

Please Note:
All Divers: In accordance with the Australian diving law, ALL DIVERS must complete a medical questionnaire on board, before diving.
Flying after diving: If only one dive is undertaken then a minimum of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If more than one dive is conducted in the day, an interval of 24 hours is recommended. This is not applicable for low helicopter flights over the reef.
Introductory Divers - NOTE: Certain medical conditions may prevent you from diving (e.g. Asthma, Heart Disease), please contact our office. Min. age to dive is 12 years.

Visit two spectacular outer reef sites on a brand new luxury catamaran, then join a trip to Kuranda Village by the Scenic Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, then travel to one of the oldest rainforests in the world, the Daintree Rainforest.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
