This is a high speed catamaran which provides a day to the Great Barrier Reef with a “all inclusive” package (introductory or certified dive, glass bottom boat tour, guided snorkel tour, hotel transfers, unlimited snorkelling, breakfast etc).
The vessel can take up to 155 people to the outer reef but they cap the number at 100 so travellers can have plenty of space onboard this way providing them with a more comfortable and personalised tour. Reef Experience is a local Australian family business so their reputation means a lot to them.
The vessel features two large air-conditioned saloon areas (decorated with table murals by local artists), a bar that sells snacks, drinks and souvenirs, a baby change room for families travelling with little ones and the vessel is disability friendly.
For snorkellers and divers they offers 3 dive and snorkel platforms on level with the ocean, making the access into the water easy and comfortable.
Visitors can travel from a range of 5 spectacular reef locations. The captain chooses daily a different reef site to visit. Every morning the weather conditions are checked and the best two sites for the day are chosen, making sure the ones selected will provide passengers with the best visibility under water. Great for snorkellers and diver.

Please Note:
All Divers: In accordance with the Australian diving law, ALL DIVERS must complete a medical questionnaire on board, before diving.
Flying after Diving: If only one dive is undertaken then a minimum of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If more than one dive is conducted in the day, an interval of 24 hours is recommended. This is not applicable for low helicopter flights over the reef.
Introductory Divers - NOTE: Certain medical conditions may prevent you from diving (e.g. Asthma, Heart Disease), please contact our office. Min. age to dive is 12 years.

Reef Tax: $10.00 is levied for all adults and children entering the Great Barrier Reef. This charge and other levies are INCLUDED in the cruise fares.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is usually paid directly to the tour operator on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy. Some tour operators request full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
