Low Isles is an idyllic, unspoilt Great Barrier Reef coral island. Wavedancer is a luxury 30 metre sailing vessel catamaran which provides the trip for families and couples seeking island relaxation.
Low Isles is a 4 acre coral cay surrounded by 55 acres of reef situated 15km north-east of Port Douglas. Low Isles is two small islands separated with one common reef. The larger of the two, Woody Island, is uninhabited except for a large bird population. It is a vital habitat for many species.
The corals are very close to the island which makes snorkelling an enjoyable experience. On the island Wavedancer's crew will erect permanent thatched umbrellas so clients can relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful white sandy beach around them.
With Wavedancer guests travel in calm and translucent waters to Low Isles lagoon, where there are many reef activities available for the day. Wavedancer's friendly crew take clients on a informative, relaxing day where they can discover the reef through jumping in the water and trying some snorkelling or going on the glass bottom boat tour around the island. A guided beach walk and snorkel tour with a Marine Biologist is also part of the activities for the day.
Morning tea, afternoon tea and a delicious tropical buffet lunch are also included for the day.

Reef Tax: $6.50 is levied for all adults and children entering the Great Barrier Reef. This charge and other levies are INCLUDED in the cruise fares.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is usually paid directly to the tour operator on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy. Some tour operators request full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
