Two great locations in one day!!! Visitors cruise to Green Island, later in the morning fly by helicopter to Great Adventures pontoon and at the end of the afternoon the return to Cairns is by a luxury spacious air-conditioned catamaran.
The day starts with a cruise across the Coral Sea to Green Island. Green Island is a beautiful coral cay located on the Great Barrier Reef with tropical rainforests surrounded by white sandy beaches, beautiful coral reefs and extensive marine life. Enjoy two hours on this unique tropical Island with snorkelling equipment included.
Then around lunch time the helicopter departs the island and passengers have the opportunity to take great photos of the area including hopefully turtles, sting rays and whales. The reef colours from the top are brighter and even more beautiful. It is a great experience.
The landing is done on a helipad in the outer reef and visitors are transferred to Great Adventures floating platform where an exciting afternoon awaits them filled with many activities. The pontoon is suitable for all ages, swimmers and non-swimmers as the platform offers activities for people who want to get in the water and also for those one who prefer to stay dry.
The pontoon features undercover seating, tables to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, full bar facilities, sundeck, a swimming enclosure for children, change rooms with freshwater showers and scuba diving facilities with a semi-submerged platform.
