Activity 1: ATV Riding:
Experience the lush tropical rainforest in this adventurous ATV experience. Ride through creekbeds and dense forest, close enough to touch. The tour operator has 300cc & 150cc fully automatic ATV’s and smaller bikes for beginners or the inexperienced.
This is a family friendly adventure experience. They accommodate all riding abilities with children aged 12 years and up, welcoming everyone to participate. All training and safety gear is provided on the day with a test track to get clients started.
During this half day ATV Adventure, visitors encounter spectacular, unspoiled mountain-top views, naturally built obstacles, mud pits and a motorcross track. Half way through the tour there is a stop where visitors are served cool refreshing drinks and can relax and enjoy the lookout views of Mareeba mountains and beyond.
Activity 2: Barron Rafting:
How exciting!!! Raft through the beautiful Cairns rainforest and carry great memories forever!! Enjoy rafting the Barron River for 2 hours through grade rapids 2 & 3. This is great fun for families and friends.
The Barron river has the advantage of tropical water temperatures, breath-taking scenery and rapids and departures all year round.
The Barron river is located only 20 minutes from Cairns CBD so there is no travelling involved. This half day activity is perfect for someone who wants to experience rafting but only has limited time in Cairns.
Each raft is controlled by an experienced river guide who teaches passengers the correct rafting techniques so experience is not necessary. Also the guides share the history and wonders of the magnificent landscape around them.

Important Information: Rafting and ATV are not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
For your safety you will not be permitted to raft if we detect you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, no refund will apply.

Rafting Levy:The $25.00 rafting levy is INCLUDED in the price.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
