2 day / 1 Night Atherton Tablelands & Cape Tribulation Tour

These 2 day 1 night Atherton Tablelands & Cape Tribulation Tour combines two amazing locations. Customers get to experience the best of the rainforest around Cairns.

On day 1 travellers will depart Cairns early in the morning and travel south of Cairns. The first stop is Babinda Boulders, a beautiful swim hole location where customers can get in the water or just relax at this amazing rainforest spot. The next stop is Josephine Falls, a waterfall and swim hole, another great spot to go for a swim.

Then travellers travel up through Gillies highway to Yungaburra, a small beautiful town at Atherton Tablelands. The next location to visit is the famous Milla Milla falls. Be ready to take some great photos and enjoy another swim spot.

At the end of the afternoon everyone heads to the accommodation “On the Wallaby Eco Lodge” where they will spend the night. But before that there is a quick stop at a platypus viewing location. Lucky some platypus can be sighted.

The On the Wallaby Eco Lodge offers dormitory style rooms but an upgrade to private rooms are available. A lovely home cooked meal will be served for dinner and afterwards all customers will experience a night canoeing trip. Great place to spot some wildlife.

Day 2

After a delicious breakfast all travellers will head north to Daintree National Park via Granite Gorge Nature Park. Enjoy a river Cruise where you can sight some crocodiles.

Enjoy the amazing Daintree Rainforest and some of the beautiful walking tracks.Then later in the day it is time to head south to Mossman Gorge national Park. Time to go for a swim in another beautiful swim hole. Next stop is Port Douglas and everybody goes for a nice walk along 4 Miles Beach.

Then It is time to head back to Cairns and the tour finishes at the end of the afternoon.

Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.

Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is usually paid directly to the tour operator on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy. Some tour operators request full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.

Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
