This tour company offers great tours to Cape Tribulation through the Bloomfield Track, one of the most scenic short 4WD drives in Queensland.
The Bloomfield track attracts a lot of tourists every year because of its beautiful rainforest, natural swimming holes, creeks and beaches. The track's construction in 1983- 1984 led to the Bloomfield Blockade, one of Australia's most important environmental protests. And today the area now has World Heritage protection.
This is a personalised tour of a maximum of 16 passengers in a custom built 4WD. In this tour visitors travel in the company of a guide who talks about the flora, fauna, and history of the area including the aboriginal culture. Making the whole Daintree experience quite educational and special to everyone.
This Cape Tribulation tour is the only one in Cairns that travels to the pristine Emmagen Creek. Emmagen Creek is located 7 km north of Cape Tribulation and is in a beautiful location with numerous swimming holes ranging from deep pools to shallow trickling water. This is where everyone gets in the water for a swim.
Other places visited include the Daintree river ferry, Alexandra Lookout, Lync Haven animal refugee, Cape Tribulation Beach and the Daintree Ice Cream Factory (if time permits).
This is a "must do" for adventurous people or any nature loving person.
