Cape Tribulation with Jungle Surfing

Travel to Cape Tribulation including all the "must see" places along the way and also experience this exciting activity, Jungle Surfing. All in one day!

Cape Tribulation is a bush walking paradise with many short walks taking in the beaches and rainforest. It is located within the Daintree National Park (considered one of the oldest rainforest in the world) and the Wet Tropics World Heritage area.

In this tour clients have the opportunity to visit The Wildlife Habitat park in Port Douglas where they can learn more about a variety of animals that reside in the Wetlands, Grasslands, Rainforest and Savannah habitats. For those interested there is a koala presentation with an option to have a photo taken cuddling one of these unique Australia creatures.

But what is really exciting about this tour is the Jungle Surfing!!!

The Jungle Surfing is a unique and exhilarating way to experience the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest. It is a fun, educational and fully-guided activity where people can feel the freedom of flying. In this activity clients fly through the trees on seven flying fox ziplines, stopping at six platforms at the treetops where there are amazing views of the rainforest and Cape Tribulation Beach. Their experienced Jungle Surfing guide looks after all clients and explains about the beautiful Daintree rainforest around them.

This is a great activity for kids just as little as 3 years old or any adventures person.

07:00 Coach pick up from hotels in Cairns
Drive along the scenic coastal along the Captain Cook Highway to Port Douglas
First stop is at the Rainforest Habitat Port Douglas
Morning Tea served
Cross the Daintree river and travel to the Daintree National Park
Turtle Rock Cafe for a Tropical Lunch (Salads, cold meats, cheese, bread, fruit and refreshing cold drinks)
Time for Jungle Surfing Experience
Alexandra Lookout for some magnificent views
Enjoy the spectacular lookout at Alexandra Range
Daintree River Cruise for crocodile spotting
The journey back to Cairns starts
18:30 Return to accommodation

Please Note:
Level of fitness:The rainforest walk is graded easy and it can be done by anyone with any level of fitness.
Junlge Surfing:Harnesses available to fit children aged 3 up to adults weighing 120kg/260lbs
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and all persons under 18 years must have our Medical Declaration & Waiver Release signed by a parent or guardian prior to the tour
No prior experience or specific fitness required. Not recommended for pregnant women.

Age: Adult age: 15 yrs + / Child age: 4-14 years inclusive.

Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.

Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.

Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.

Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
