Fitzroy Island Activity Pass 1

Fitzroy Island is 29 kilometers from Cairns or 45 minutes ferry ride from Cairns marina. Fitzroy is a tropical island covered in beautiful rainforest surrounded by a gorgeous reef which makes part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The island has a total area of 339 hectares and the highest point is 375 metres above sea level.

Fitzroy Island has so much to offer to visitors. They can walk through the rainforest, swim in the calm waters of Welcome Bay, see the fish swarm underneath the jetty or build sandcastles at Nudey Beach. Also it is a great place for hiking with four walking tracks around the island.

This tour package offers a great and fun day to visitors with many activities included for the day. Clients learn about the marine life on a guided glass bottom boat tour OR get in the water and do snorkelling just off the beach. Also included for the day is free usage of the paddle skis, stand up paddle boards, ocean trampoline and a picnic lunch.

Snorkelling around Fitzroy is an easy experience and perfect for kids or those ones who are learning how to snorkel. The reef is located just off the beach so the access to the snorkelling locations are easy and close to shore making it comfortable to snorkel.

During the check in at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal Raging Thunder's staff will provide visitors with a map of the island where it will show the best snorkelling locations and walking tracks. The island will also not disappoint with the wide variety of coral and fish species.

This is a great opportunity to see one of the most beautiful islands in the Far North Queensland.
